Panel urges suspension for attorney after property damage

A lawyer who pleaded guilty to property damage for shattering a Wendy’s restaurant window with a brick should be suspended for at least six months and until he receives mental health care, an Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Hearing Board found.The hearing board decided Vichian R. Ford’s underlying conduct of property damage was “relatively minor,” but it determined Ford’s mental health condition and treatment status warranted suspension until further order.Ford is a sole …
