This fall, Illinois’ law school community will experience some historic firsts.The first public law school in Chicago will open. Also, for the first time, the Uniform Bar Exam will be available to law students in Illinois.It will also be the first time that a permanent female dean will lead Chicago-Kent College of Law, the state’s second oldest law school.Joan E.
