SPRINGFIELD — A measure that allows for undocumented immigrants to receive taxpayer-funded financial aid to attend college is on its way to Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s desk.House Bill 2691 — also known as the Retention of Illinois Students and Equity — passed the Senate 35-15 last week.
