A federal judge declined to sanction a woman and her lawyers for pursuing what the maker of LaCroix Sparkling Water maintains is a smear campaign.In a written opinion last week, U.S. District Judge Joan B. Gottschall held National Beverage Corp. failed to substantiate the factual and legal claims it made in a motion for sanctions filed against Lenora Rice and her lawyers.Rice is the plaintiff in a proposed class-action lawsuit that alleges National Beverage is mislabeling LaCroix as “all natural” even though it …
