High court highlights: The September docket

SPRINGFIELD — The state’s top court comes back for its September session next week to hear 19 cases after taking a four-month break.Most of the cases will be heard in the Supreme Court building in Springfield, but the justices will also hear arguments one day at a community college in southern Illinois.On Sept. 18, the Illinois Supreme Court will hear two cases — People v. Morger and Dew-Becker v. Andrew Wu — in front of more than 900 guests at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, a village …
