A DuPage County jury awarded more than $2.9 million to the family of a newborn who died in a Naperville hospital about a month after she was born.A verdict was issued Friday after a four-week trial before Associate Judge Robert W. Rohm against defendants Edward Hospital and Dr. Michael J. Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald was employed by DuPage Neonatology Associates S.C.On Oct. 13, 2013, Abigail Kiersten Grosshuesch was 30 weeks pregnant when admitted to Edward Hospital where she delivered Isabella Kitsen Zormelo the same day …
