There was an unusual twist in the lawsuit Indeck Energy Services filed against two of its former employees for allegedly usurping two corporate opportunities with Merced Capital Partners for power plant projects in Texas.Although “corporate-opportunity cases typically involve an opportunity that is available to one party or the other, but not both,” the Illinois Appellate Court explained that Indeck still had a chance to pursue similar deals with Merced for power plants connected to the electrical grid …

Arizona high court rolls back clock to 1864 in abortion case
