After a year and a half of changes to this rule that was little referenced before March 2020, on Sept. 29, the Illinois Supreme Court issued a permanent version of Rule 206(h). Following a period of reverting to the former rule after removing the temporary rule, the court adopted a final rule that reflects, without change, the proposal that the Rules Committee considered at its hearing on July 21. Arizona high court rolls back clock to 1864 in abortion case
