Yvette C. Loizon, partner at Clifford Law Offices, was one of seven people appointed by Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to serve on the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability until district council members are elected Feb. 28.The council will then recommend 14 names from which the mayor will choose a permanent, seven-member Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability.The commission’s goal is to enhance public safety and law enforcement accountability.
