Dirksen Federal Courthouse to be closed Tuesday

The Dirksen Federal Courthouse will be closed Tuesday because of an “operational issue,” according to an announcement posted on the Northern District of Illinois website.Jury trials will be suspended for one day, the statement continued.No further reason for the closure was given.The high-profile R. Kelly trial is ongoing at the courthouse at 219 S. Dearborn St., with Judge Harry D. Leinenweber presiding.
