A federal judge dismissed a case a property owner brought against the village of Hoffman Estates after several requests for rezoning and development plans were denied.In a written opinion Monday, U.S. District Judge Thomas M. Durkin of the Northern District of Illinois dismissed the case without prejudice, finding that the claims are not ripe for adjudication.Sam Akmakjian owned a 40,000-square-foot property in Hoffman Estates for 30 years.
