State AGs oppose amnesty for wage thieves

Attorneys general from 10 states and the District of Columbia urged the Trump administration Wednesday to reconsider a program to allow certain employers to avoid prosecution and civil penalties for labor law violations simply by paying the back wages they owe their employees under federal law.
