Construction fall nets $2.1 million

The family of a carpenter who suffered a traumatic brain injury in a work-related fall has settled their lawsuit for $2.1 million.Cook County Circuit Judge Christopher E. Lawler entered an order approving the settlement on Oct. 29.In March 2016, Adam Wyczesany was working as a carpenter for DOM Construction on a residential project when he fell from a beam about 10 feet above the ground floor.Wyczesany suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, including a right subdural hematoma, a subarachnoid hemorrhage and multiple …
