The city of Chicago has unveiled new honorary street signage marking West Adams Street along Federal Plaza as “The Hon. Milton I. Shadur Way.”Shadur, a U.S. district judge for 37 years, died in January 2018 at 93 years old.An ordinance sponsored by 42nd Ward Ald. Brendan Reilly passed the City Council in July.The ordinance cites Shadur’s 11,000 written opinions and the 5,000 U.S. citizens he swore in.
