In a matter of minutes last week, partners at Cunningham, Meyer & Vedrine P.C. secured two defense jury verdicts in nearby courtrooms.It all started on July 18 at 1:34 p.m. and ended at 1:41 p.m. on the 24th floor of the Daley Center.The first verdict stemmed from a medical-malpractice suit in which plaintiff Polina Grebelyuk alleged optometrist Lisa Young, employed by Chicago Glaucoma Consultants Ltd., failed to diagnose Grebelyuk with compressive optic neuropathy on Jan. 30, 2014, during an eye examination.Grebelyuk …
