Standing ends ADA claim over credit union website

A blind man who is unable to use the Aurora Policemen Credit Union’s website does not have a case under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a federal appeals court held.The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday declined to revive the lawsuit Matthew Carello filed alleging the site does not offer the technical support he needs to access its contents.The court affirmed U.S. District Judge Thomas M. Durkin’s ruling that Carello lacked standing under Article III of the U.S. Constitution to sue the credit …
