Settlement after stroke nets $3.7M

The wife of a man who had a “catastrophic” stroke three years after he was diagnosed with intermittent atrial fibrillation has settled her lawsuit for more than $3.7 million.An agreement was reached Oct. 2 ahead of a Daley Center trial before Circuit Judge Lorna E. Propes, according to one of the plaintiff’s attorneys Michael P. Cogan of Cogan & Power P.C.In 2013, plaintiff Donald K.
