Ex-worker doesn’t owe ultrasound company $56K

A state appeals panel last week found an ultrasound company’s employment agreement was “substantively unconscionable,” upholding a Cook County judge’s prior ruling.First Peek Ultrasound LLC filed a breach-of contract lawsuit in February 2017 demanding $56,000 from ex-employee Alicia Weideman after she resigned from her position four months after she started working for the Oak Park studio.The company alleged Weideman’s abrupt resignation would cause them to lose $56,283.25 in lost revenue …
