FOUNDER AND SENIOR MANAGING ATTORNEY

Jane Park is the founder and senior managing attorney of Mirae Law LLC, a Chicago-based law firm. Mirae Law LLC focuses on representing companies and their executives on corporate matters, contract negotiation, due diligence, contract disputes, employment and immigration issues.

Her clients are located in China, Korea, Canada and throughout the U.S., and range from one of Korea’s top 10 companies to small businesses. Jane is frequently retained by Korean companies as an outside corporate legal counsel to oversee complex contract negotiations and disputes here in the U.S. Her clients appreciate Jane’s efficient, creative and effective problem-solving skills.

While Jane is known to be an aggressive negotiator, she understands that not all matters require a scorched earth approach. Jane’s ability to recognize this and quickly tailor her approach to each case is what makes her successful.

Jane is actively engaged in servicing the needs of the underprivileged community through the Rotary One Club of Chicago. She previously served as the president of the Rotary Club of Chicagoland Korean – Northbrook. She also currently heads the Chicago Chapter of both International Network of Korean Entrepreneurs (INKE) and Korean Women’s International Network (KOWIN) as the president for both organizations.

Jane received her J.D. from Chicago Kent College of Law with a Certificate in Labor and Employment Law in 2002. She participated and received a certificate in an intensive negotiation workshop provided by the Harvard Law School in 2015. Jane was born and raised in Seoul, Korea until age 11 when she immigrated to Chicago, the city she calls her home. She enjoys golfing, skiing, running, playing classical piano, and attending concerts.
