ARDC: Suspension for client neglect, practicing without license

A Champaign attorney should be suspended for six months for misconduct that included neglecting a client matter, failing to refund an unearned fee and practicing law while he was not registered to do so, an Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Hearing Board panel found.Walter Ding, an associate at Dodson, Piraino & Associates, was charged in a four-count complaint in August 2018.The allegations in the complaint were deemed admitted Friday because Ding did not file a response or participate in the …
