ARDC board urges reinstatement for suspended Springfield lawyer

A Springfield attorney who was suspended for misconduct related to alcohol abuse should be allowed to practice law again, subject to conditions, an Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Hearing Board found.The hearing board recommended Patricia L. Hayes be reinstated to practice law after her 2006 suspension for assaulting police officers during a drunken altercation in 2002 at O’Hare International Airport.Hayes was suspended for 30 months and until further order of the court with the suspension stayed …
