Harvard Law School professor Ronald S. Sullivan Jr.’s decision to represent Harvey Weinstein has set off protests on campus and an online petition calling for his resignation. Sullivan, director of the school’s Criminal Justice Institute, told The New York Times this week: “Lawyers are not an extension of their clients ... it doesn’t mean I’m supporting anything the client may have done.”
