The Illinois state bar exam is set for July 28-29, and I happen to know several recent graduates who are preparing for this year’s rite of passage. They are taking the practice exams, fretting about the complex fact scenarios and stressing about the questions they missed.Adding to the frustration is the Illinois Supreme Court’s intention to improve the writing skills of new lawyers by increasing the score needed to pass.The 2014 score was 264. Defendants attack assignment as champertous

Judge rejects ‘specific patient rule’ in case over false claims, kickbacks
