Keep an eye on Illinois appeals at SCOTUS

The U.S. Supreme Court is slated to take action today on some pending Illinois appeals. Pleas for certiorari in the Drew Peterson case, as well as an appeal of a $21.4 million railroad injury, are scheduled for consideration at the top justices’ conference this morning.
