Former WBAI leader ‘driven to help women’

Along with making a name for herself as a thorough insurance-defense lawyer, Tracey J. Stokes found time to mentor homeless women on job-interviewing skills. She also served Saturday morning breakfast at her church and helped with clothing drives for the needy. Stokes, a former president of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, died Saturday after suffering from metastatic breast cancer. She was 54. Her husband, Peter D.
