$5.9M for engineer hurt at I-90 bridge project

A civil engineer who sustained several injuries when a one-ton jib extension fell from a crane and struck him while he was working on a bridge project has settled his lawsuit with several defendants for $5.9 million.Rudolf Das reached agreements on Jan. 10 with Hammer & Steel Inc., Kenny Construction Co., Edward Kraemer & Sons Inc., K&S Engineers Inc. and Kenny/Kraemer Joint Venture, according to one of his attorneys, James J. Morici Jr. of Morici Figlioli & Associates.The settlement has yet to be approved …
